Some addresses are just addresses. This one comes with a grand Edwardian century-old castle across the street. This delightful one-bedroom sits kitty-corner to Casa Loma, tucked into one of the quietest pockets of midtown Toronto, where the neighbours are luxe mansions, streets lined by epic tree canopies, and the vibe is decidedly not "glass tower beside a highway." This is a boutique building and you feel it the second you walk in. Inside #405, the layout actually makes sense. Open kitchen with a proper eat-in island, pendant lighting that someone thought about, and a living room with a walk-out to a generously sized balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard with southern exposure. Unlike that sad afterthought glass panel stuck in the back of a shoebox, the bedroom here has a door (!), a closet, and a window (!) with all-day light. The bathroom, meanwhile, sharp and minimal with shelving that truly works, and lighting that's warm and flattering. The building pulls its weight too with 24-hour concierge, visitor parking, a gym, and a party room (when the occasion calls for it). And when you're ready to venture out from your pad, Dupont Station is steps away. With the Annex a short walk, Yorkville closer than you think, and Casa Loma literally across the street, this is midtown Toronto at its most livable.
