Past History. Shortly after the war large parcels of land on various lakefronts large enough for 12 cottages were purchased by groups of families. There are several locations in Gravenhurst area. The cottages in this location are individually owned and share - a Tennis Court, Parkette for kids play and family gatherings, Docking for your boat and about 200 feet of Sandy Beachfront on Lake Muskoka. Today this community is enjoyed by many several families enjoying the same love of Muskoka. Due to it's close location to Gravenhurst -10 min. walking distance - there is Municipal water & cable TV unlike most homes or cottages on or near Lake Muskoka. Your assigned Docking Slip is large enough for a your Ski Boat. A rack for canoes and kayaks is located at the beach as are picnic tables and beach toys for all to use. The beachfront is hard packed sand wide enough for separation of those reading and those playing and all ages enjoy the lakefront view. The 'Open Concept' living area of home/cottage allows the chef to participate in the family and guest discussions easily....the living - dining- kitchen is comprised of one great living area. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - one on each floor, one with a shower and the other with a tub. There are two 28' sundecks...one is full length on the lower floor and another full length balcony on the upper floor. There are many conveniences near by...Pickle ball and two full size municipal tennis courts and Park several golf courses including Muskoka Bay Golf Course, ranked among the best in Canada and several more in the area. The Historic Opera House has evenings of Theatre and Music. Music on the Barge at Rotary Gull Lake Park every Sunday. Several nice restaurants. And the Segwun Steamship is great for your visitors to enjoy a pleasant afternoon. Signs are on the property. The path to the beach is right in front of your fully winterized cottage/home.
